As the owner of a solar panel system, you have responsibilities to ensure that the system remains physically and electrically safe as well as maintaining efficiency. Annual service logs may be asked for in the case of claiming against the warranty on a part of your system. Solar systems are mounted in the harshest of environments and are subjected to UV rays, heat and rain. All of these factors can degrade the components of the system. Waterproof seals can break down, moisture can enter critical electrical components or even your property and wind can work loose the array framing system.

An Annual service by Solar Service Experts is aimed at addressing all safety and quality issues that may cause concern or affect performance. We will visit your premises and perform a detailed checklist and report to you all quality issues that are to be addressed. Our detailed inspection covers amongst others:

  • Cleanliness checks of array and inverter
  • Shading impact and generation assessment
  • Inverter Anti-Islanding tests
  • Physical checks of the module mounting system
  • Electrical component inspection
  • Measurement of Electrical characteristics and analysis
  • Inspection & Maintenance of all safety warning notices and labels
  • Verification of components against required system ratings and recall notices

Upon completion, a service report is sent to you to keep in your records. We also store information from our visit in order for use to understand your system better on future visits. Only CEC accredited installers know how to give your system the service it requires. Our technicians are accredited, experience and licensed to carry out such work. Our teams undergo the necessary working at heights training and ongoing development to ensure the servicing is done to the safest and highest standards.
